Battery drain during night after upgrading to macOS 12.2

I updated my work MacBook Pro (2019 with TB) from 12.1 to 12.2 on the release day. After that, every morning the battery is fully drained. The battery is fully charged to 100% > I close the lid > next morning > battery is 1%.

I googled it and it seems that it has something to do with macOS 12.2.

Unfortunately, The ELC article left me scratching my head. And the link to the "Learn to fix…" article appears not to work.

Am hoping that Apple chimes in this week with news of an imminent fix.

Same here…reset SMC and NVRAM didn’t solve it, although removing all BT devices and still have the BT enabled worked for me. No battery drain.

Yep, exact same issue. Bluetooth related apparently(?) I might try turning off my bluetooth overnight to see if I still have battery in the morning. 2019 MBP, 13", macOS 12.2

Yes, BT off overnight is the workaround.

Though this topic has received coverage in the tech press, am surprised more comments haven't surfaced in this discussion.

Same guy called me and he was very supportive. We did some logging of the BT module and then I uploaded all files to the ticket. Hope that this will be solved soon.
