Animated Stickers won’t send on Messages

Sort of at my wits end.

I’ve been using animated stickers downloaded from the App Store for a long time. But now all of a sudden today when I try to send an animated sticker to some friends on Messages they won’t go through. It shows on the message feeds that I tried to send them and the buffer bar at the top will slowly crawl across the screen but then freeze in place just before completing for about a minute and then an alert will say that the stickers failed to send. Everything else can be sent without issue. I’ve tried shutting down Messages and turning the phone off and on to clear cache and the like but nothing is working. Also yes the phone is up to date and so are the stickers. Can someone tell me what’s going on?
