Calendar Snooze Options in Monterey?

In Catalina, you had the option of snoozing Calendar notifications 19 different ways: 1, 5, 15 or 30 minutes: 1 or 2 hours; 1 day, 1 week, 1, 5, 15, 30 minutes before; 1 or 2 hours before; 1 day before, 2 days before, 1 week before, until start time, or until end time.

This was incredibly convenient, especially when dealing with events for which you needed a reminder well in advance (scheduling a flight in advance of a trip, a reminder to leave for a meeting across town.)

For some unfathomable reason, Big Sur eliminated all options other than a 15-minute snooze. After a great deal of complaining, they begrudgingly added back a few more - but not enough to justify an upgrade from Catalina.

Monterey has some cool features. But, before I take the time to upgrade, could someone please post what the options for snoozing calendar notifications are? Thanks in advance!

I'm sorry, but going back to an old OS is not an option. Aside from the security implications, if you have upgraded to the new chip, it's not possible. This simply means that Apple has failed by taking away features. wertgrggr is correct. The limited options in Monterey are annoying - bordering on useless. A third party App like Busy Cal allows you to type in a numerical value and has a pull down menu for units (seconds, minutes, hours, days). Apple should pay attention.

@pmazzuchelli, the "Options" menu shown in my screenshot (above) is invisible until you move your cursor over the lower-right corner of the notification popup window. When "Options" appears, press down on the button, and a menu appears. Most of the time this menu offers just the reduced number of Snooze options. Sometimes, when the Calendar entry includes a video link (e.g., Zoom), the first menu option will be "Join".

In the UX (User eXperience) world, this "Options" button is called a "hidden affordance". An "affordance" is a design feature that enables an action, e.g., the handle on a pitcher enables one to pick up the pitcher and pour. A hidden affordance is generally a bad design idea.

Uh, no. Not if there are only 4 options with the longest being 1 hour. In Catalina, there were nearly 20 snooze options ranging from 1 minute to a week. Is that really all there are? in Monterey?

Every macOS changes happen....

Revert back to your old Catalina if that is what you want...

Your "screen shot" above in the OP looks to me like a third party app

Yep, that's all that's available. It's infuriating. I often set reminders for dates 1 or more days away, and I need reminders at intervals like 1 day, 2 hours, etc. If I've manually set reminders 1 week, 1 day, 2 hours, etc. before the start time will I'll get all of them? Still, this uselessly concentrated list of options is outrageous. I'm glad to see so many other comments that agree.

Thanks to all in this thread for confirming what I'd suspected. What an incredibly dumb design change. I keep trying to think of what angle Apple was trying to play, how this change would somehow help Apple sell more things or promote something, and I keep drawing a blank. It just looks like a bad and pointless change. Not being able to sleep "until start of event" is so annoying.
