Calendar Snooze Options in Monterey?

In Catalina, you had the option of snoozing Calendar notifications 19 different ways: 1, 5, 15 or 30 minutes: 1 or 2 hours; 1 day, 1 week, 1, 5, 15, 30 minutes before; 1 or 2 hours before; 1 day before, 2 days before, 1 week before, until start time, or until end time.

This was incredibly convenient, especially when dealing with events for which you needed a reminder well in advance (scheduling a flight in advance of a trip, a reminder to leave for a meeting across town.)

For some unfathomable reason, Big Sur eliminated all options other than a 15-minute snooze. After a great deal of complaining, they begrudgingly added back a few more - but not enough to justify an upgrade from Catalina.

Monterey has some cool features. But, before I take the time to upgrade, could someone please post what the options for snoozing calendar notifications are? Thanks in advance!

BTW, this is an actual photo of the snooze options offered on Catalina's calendar. What possible reason could Apple have for removing almost all of them?

It's not that I'm a huge fan of Catalina. The kernel panics that Apple refuses to address are a huge PITA.

Apple charges premium prices and one upon a time offered responsive, premium service. Sad that it is no longer a focus...

Yes for some reason when changing software companies do not consult with users and do case studies. This is called single-minded strategy development and this is a fault of a Business Analyst or Product Manager not validating the software as used by the greater community. I am seeing where Apple development keeps falling short on projected advancement of software and does not have a full aspect of the result of the user community. If I was not retired from IT for 47 years I would look to get a job with Apple but there are two with this company if you do not have a degree or you are told you do not fit into their model. Wiser people in the industry can be value-added instead of trying to reinvent the wheel.

Yep, that's all that's available. It's infuriating. I often set reminders for dates 1 or more days away, and I need reminders at intervals like 1 day, 2 hours, etc. If I've manually set reminders 1 week, 1 day, 2 hours, etc. before the start time will I'll get all of them? Still, this uselessly concentrated list of options is outrageous. I'm glad to see so many other comments that agree.

With Monterey you can do that in Calendar.

Opps, didn't see econklin4's last post.

I have exactly the same problem. What an incredibly bad design decision! I cannot any longer make the calendar remind me tomorrow. There's no longer a meanful option to handle those notifications. Shall I dismiss them and run into risk of missing the date? Otherwise shall I snooze them hour by hour?

Who decides about such a change? Apple seems not have effective QA processes any longer. Each OS update I'm afraid of something else being crippled. Quicktime, iMovie export, now Calendar, etc. etc.

Often there seems to be a misunderstanding that stripping options from a dropdown simplifies something. It doesn't. Removing the dropdown altogether is a simplification, just removing options from a sorted list isn't. Please fire the designer in charge of this change!

I assumed that displaying more 'snooze' choices was hidden away in settings somewhere I had not spotted. Incredibly dumb to remove them entirely rather than just provide some 'defaults' if trying to shorten a menu!

I particularly miss 'snooze till start time'. Setting a 'fake' appointment a day in the future just to get a reminder on the day of the actual event is stupid!

Agree--bad design all around. The old design was great. They could not manage to place a visible symbol in the lower right corner rather than force us to play cursor tag with an invisible menu? Such a simple thing and so important to get a few "real user" opinions. Apple's "improvements" tend to fall short of their promise is so many cases (e.g. M1chip MBPro with Monterey is actually slower than my 2018 MBPro with Intel with Mojave and there is persistent annoying hesitation when using the track pad cursor to select--especially in Safari. Kernel panics continue to be an issue, too.).
