My new Apple ipad does not show my email when I tap the mail icon

My new apple ipad does not show my gmail when I tap the mail icon. I sychned it with my old ipad I can see messages but not my apps or email

I use the apple mail app to sync and access all my email accounts (multiple gmail). I can access my gmail account emails on the apple mail but after reading them I noticed that when I log into my one of my gmail accounts on my computer the emails that I previously read on my iphone with new IOS 16 are not marked as read but rather as unread. There is a synching issue between gmail and apple after this new IOS 16 release that is not sending the notification to the gmail servers that the emails have been read on iphone. Anyone have a solution for this?

My iPad won't download emails because it says storage is full. My ipad 9.3.5 will not download emails as it says storage is full but I am only using less than 1 GB of storage with very few Apps [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Maybe you did not add the email account to your new iPad

Doing a restore from back up will not affect the email account
