forgot to download the newest update IOS15.3

Hey first of all, sorry for my bad english. I saw some videos and articles of the ios 15.3 update. I didnt understood something. like, those websites, which can track my webhistory, can they hack my device?

I‘m a bit paranoid because I accidentally clicked on a popup which redirected me to an other website. And I was one day to late to update the newest IOS version. could something have been happened between this one day?

or is the maximum they can ”only“ track some webhistory datas?

You can update to iOS 15.3 on your iPhone by going to Settings > General > Software Update.
