Cricut design space issues

Hi, I have a MacBook Air I bought brand new in 2020. Its all current update with macOS Monterey 12.2. I have a Cricut make I got in 2021. I constantly have issues with opening the design space program. It will just sit blank square when trying to load. If I do a safe reboot with my computer it works just fine. but if its not in a safe reboot it never works. According to other Cricut users in a Facebook group, nobody has any issues. Im just wondering if I might have something going on with my computer. Or is it safe to keep my computer in a safe boot. thanks!

I just bought a new iMac 24" with the M1 chip. And every time I try to open the Cricut app, I get an error and says I need to install an update. But when I click on it, nothing happens. Did you get it to work?

We appreciate the troubleshooting that you have completed. Yes, you can use your Mac in safe mode, but we’d like to assist you in coming to a resolution, so that you can use your Mac as expected. We’d like to further isolate the cause by creating a new user account using the steps here: Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac - Apple Support

We also recommend checking for any app updates with Design Space. Does your Cricut have any firmware updates? If so, we recommend installing those.
