Settings app crashes when trying to set passcode for Screen Time

Settings app crashing.

When I try to set a passcode for Screen Time within the Settings app, I enter the desired passcode, then there’s a screen asking me to use my Apple ID in case I ever forget the Screen Time passcode…

I enter my Apple ID then click into the Password field. I then have to look up the password using the ‘Passwords’ option (as it’s one of those long Safari generated ones) it’s at this point that the Settings app crashes and I’m back to the Home Screen.

Is there a way I can report this bug to Apple?

Thanks for keeping your iOS up to date. Have you also tried force restarting your iPhone to try again? If not, give that a go next and test for resolution: Force restart iPhone.

If the issue continues, we can rule out the correlation with the Passwords option. If you wouldn't mind, can you try changing your Apple ID password to a personally customized password? One that you can enter manually on your device when prompted during the passcode set up for Screen Time? Change your Apple ID password. Just to test and rule out if it's related to the device wanting to go into the Passwords settings. It would be helpful information to gather for Apple as well, if further investigation is needed.
