macOS Monterey running older version of Migration Assistant App

Trying to import powerpoint presentations from Lenovo Yoga 520 MS laptop to new MAC. Have made sure soft ware upgraded on laptop and Mac is upgraded to Monterey. Can't get past a warning yellow triangle which warns "The selected source cannot be used for migration. This source is running older version of Migration Assistant App. You must download latest appropriate version."

Have downloaded migration Assistant for Monterey update from Apple. Gives me the installer then chucks me off when I double click it saying MAC does not support Microsoft application!

Can't find a Migration Assistant App in App Store either to try.

My computer skills are limited alas. What am I doing wrong? Stumped!
