Erratic Call Quality on iPhone 11 Pro

My iPhone 11 Pro is having frustrating erratic call quality that has been difficult to diagnose (and fix). Example: I can be home (not moving in a car) with good signal strength and call someone in their home (also with good signal strength) and the call can start out perfectly clear and fine. At some point you hear an electronic modem-type sound and from that moment the call starts to disintegrate. It sounds very electronic and like taling in a barrel. Then it starts dropping a syllable or two. And then a word. And then sentences. And eventually the call is so bad that neither party can hear the other. Once the degradation starts, it never self-corrects during the call. The only way to "fix" it is to hang up and either re-boot or toggle airplane mode on and off (presumably resetting network settings. Not every call is this way. But it is quite frequent (daily). It is definitely NOT poor signal strength, microphone problem or speaker problem. I have tried at least 3 different sim cards and had the phone company confirm their settings. But so far no fix. Has anyone out there run into this bizarre issue? And more importantly, does anyone have a fix? Thanks.

If it is a voice call through the voice protocol of your carrier then please contact them and get this corrected. If you have a similar issue through calls over internet protocol (e.g. Social Networking apps/FaceTime/Telegram/WhatsApp etc) then...

If you have a hearing or sound issue on your device then please try some of these processes to set it right

  1. If you have a distorted sound issue on your iPhone --> If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad
  2. If you are not able to hear the other person, click this...>If you can't hear a person on a call or voicemail or if the sound isn't ...
  3. If you only hear through speakerphone mode --> If your iPhone is stuck in headphone mode - Apple Support
  4. If the other person is not able to listen to you then please click this to identify the issue --> If the microphones on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch aren't ...

If the above options do not mitigate the issues then Contact your carrier and then Contact Apple Support

Thank you SravanKrA for taking the time to respond. However, I have literally tried each of those (the ones that applied) several times to no avail - including contacting my carrier and Apple. Thought it was worthwhile to give it another try and possibly get feedback from someone who has had this same issue. Would love to solve this but it looks like it might be unsolvable.
