Can't delete my family's app backups

Hi there,

I have a shared iCloud with my family. Recently I've got a note that our storage is full so I've decided to investigate what happened - turned out that one of the apps on my wife's phone backed up data for more then 100Gb. I took her phone and switched off backup in the app and then tried also to delete all files from iCloud using her phone. Unfortunately her iPhone say that it is deleting files but nothing happens in fact.

Question - how I can delete that annoying app's backup? App name is 'Viber' - this is messenger + video chat.

iPhone 13, iOS 15

Hi kirillfromkharkov,

We understand that when you click the delete option, the data in question isn't getting deleted. Since the data isn't deleting properly from iCloud, the next step is to Contact Apple Support for this issue.

Hello Nicholas_B2,

unfortunately, nothing helps. When I'm trying to delete the backup, nothing happens. At some time both - the iPad and iPhone propose to Delete backup again.
