Hi everyone,
When I download photos my wife has added to a shared album on my iPhone they have today’s date rather than the date taken. I can see the date taken in the shared album but it doesn’t download. When I download them on my Mac the date is preserved. Any ideas what’s going on?
That's expected. When you download the image you are creating a new file hence the new date. The date taken is still in the metadata on the photo.
