iPhone currency incorrect for some apps

I’m having a weird issue where some of my apps including Tesla and Carvana are displaying currency in Afghani dollars (AFN) instead of USD. I double checked my Country in media and purchases and it’s all set for the US. Not sure why the currency has changed on these apps. I can’t find any settings on changing them back to USD. It seems to be controlled by the iPhone settings itself and not the apps. But I have it set correctly to USD on my iPhone so idk. Any help?

Also check Settings > General > Language & Region > Region.

Have you ever shared your Apple ID with someone? Have you ever tried to access items purchased from an Apple related source by someone else?

Im having the same issue now. It keeps changing everything in safari to pounds instead of USD. I checked region and language and they are correct. Have had iphone for pver 10 yrs and haven't had this issue before, just started awhile ago

Language and region was the issue. Thank you. I don’t know how this got changed but I thank you for your pin point accurate resolution.

What relevant facts have you omitted from your scenario above? You told us your country is set to the U.S. Is your iPhone actually located in the U.S.? Is your Apple ID associated with the U.S.? Has your iPhone ever left the U.S.? Have you?

Hi. This is a US iPhone. It’s located in the US and my Apple ID is associated only with the US. It has never left the US. I bought the phone (13 Pro Max) new from the Apple store a month ago.
