Pinned messages not showing up for SMS

I am using iOS 15.3 and items that I pin from within the messaging app are not showing up for people who are non iPhone users/SMS messages. I have pinned a few messages sent to me as links to websites by a non iPhone user. When I click into their messages via the messaging app, then click at the top on their contact name to access all pictures/links sent between us, there is no “pins” classification. The pinned items do not appear to show up in their own category and are not accessible.

Thanks for that information! I did follow all of the steps in the Knowledge Base article you provided. I was able to successfully choose a message from a specific sender to pin per the instructions in said article.

Once I get to the set of steps named "To find the pinned content," and after tapping on the contact name at the top of the message string, there is no "Pins" section displayed. The only items that display are: Photos, Links, Locations, & Documents, respectively.

It may be worth noting the contact it is not working for is not an iPhone user. And when attempting to test this with an "iPhone user" contact in my phone, it works as intended.

Thank you for getting back with us about this, Mic0021. Does this occur with all non-iPhone users you attempt to share content with or only one specific contact? Is this person listed as a Contact in your iPhone or are you texting with the number alone? Has your iPhone been restarted lately? Have you tried to delete the full message conversation and restart a fresh one?
