Sync files between Mac desktop and Mac notebook
How do I sync data between my desktop and notebook? It should be automatically updated but it is not.

iCloud is the sync service— you have to be signed in with your same Apple ID...
If you have an issue verify everything is checked as intended.
>System Preferences>AppleID>iCloud
if no insight or resolve, sign out of iCloud and back in again.
