how to delete a "zip.part" file

Hello Collective Wisdom, A file has showed up on my desktop, labeled "hgh+S23w.zip.part"

I guess it's a temp file created automatically in expanding a zip file.

When I try to delete it, I get a message "The item “hgh+S23w.zip.part” can’t be moved to the Trash because it can’t be deleted." which is not terribly helpful...

How can I delete this blot on my desktop?
