failed to create activation request macbook air

I tried to reset Macbook Air M1 password on my son's macbook

However, it wouldn't accept my password. It said that I could reset the password with my Apple ID but I would need to restart the computer. I did so, I went through resetting the passwords and it said that it needed to deactivate the Macbook to complete the process and to only do it if I was connected to the internet. I am so I went ahead.

Now it's just saying "Failed to create activation request" over and over and giving me the option to restart. But it just does the same thing when I restart.

Please support what to do ?

Hi arya240,

If your Mac cannot activate, try the steps posted by Sparks0829 to remove Activation Lock from your Mac. Then, restart your Mac.

If that still doesn't work, and if you have a second Mac available, revive (not restore) the firmware. During the revive, the second Mac will attempt to activate your MacBook Air for you.
