Create/edit events of an Apple Calendar from a Google Calendar

I know it's pretty easy to show Apple Calendar from a Google Calendar by making it a public calendar, but I want to actually be able to update events from it too. I thought it'd be easier to find info on that, but I haven't found anything specifically addressing that. How can we do that?

Eventbrite used to have a link on the event details page of their website that added the event to Google calendar. Worked perfectly until they removed it 😡. The link now exists on their iPhone/iPad app and adds events to the Apple calendar under the Eventbrite calendar. I need to get those events to my Google calendar to displayed on my website. Once on the Google calendar I need to be able to edit the event and change the calendar assignment from Eventbrite to 1 of the 8 calendars on Google calendar.

How do I save or import events from Google Calendar to Apple Calendar so I can stop syncing with Google? I switched from Android to iPhone so now have ALL Apple devices & no longer want to sync Apple to Google calendar on any of my devices. I know how to cease the syncing, but when I do, all my calendar events disappear. How do I save or import events from Google Calendar to Apple Calendar?
