Last week installed macOS Big Sur 11.6 on my Macbook pro . Since then, I can not connect with any network through wifi. My mac is asking me to enter wap2 password and I do not have it. Can anyone help me.

Hi alugovinchira,

The WPA2 password your Mac is asking for is the Wi-Fi password for your network.

If it doesn't accept the correct password, try these steps to forget the Wi-Fi network:

  1. Open System Preferences -> Network.
  2. If a padlock appears in the bottom left corner, click on it, then provide your login password when prompted.
  3. Select Wi-Fi in the left sidebar.
  4. Click Advanced.
  5. Select the Wi-Fi tab, and locate the network that you can't connect to.
  6. Select the troublesome network, and click (-) to forget it.
  7. Try rejoining the Wi-Fi network.
