Looping background animation does not loop smoothly

Hi,

if I remember correctly loopable full screen background animations ran without stopping in Keynote.

I'm trying it right now and when jumping to the first frame there is an ugly stopping....

And no, first and last frame are not identical! ;)

Even in Quicktime it isn't smoothly …

Is there any way to improve this?

Thanks, Mik

Hi, thanks for the tips, but that was not my problem.

I suspect that it is a bug in Keynote.

I tried to create a loopable background animation in the slide master layout. Whenever the loop was at the end the animation stopped short and jumped to the first frame.

I deleted the movie in the slide master and placed it in the slide.

Here the movie runs seamlessly without any problems!
