iPad wifi turns off after boot

If the iPad reboots, such as after it dies or as a step of fixing an issue, the wifi is turned off. Apparently I am the first person in the world to have an issue like this where if I turn wifi on, it works, but it is not on by default

basically the internet turns off when my iPad reboots and I need to tap the wifi button each time, but then it works. In fact, I am typing this on said iPad and it works great!

its on every wifi network, I tried resetting it, its not an iPhone its an iPad.

I think you are SLIGHTLY not understanding the problem - its not that it isn't connecting, its straight-up the wifi switch is off.

like the button that turns wifi off is set to the wifi is off and I need to turn it on

Hi Pokebrouserkat,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. We understand that the Wi-Fi is being disabled on your iPhone when it's restarted. Does this happen with every Wi-Fi network you connect to? We can have you try resetting the network settings. Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad > Reset Network Settings. Please keep in mind that this also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and any VPN settings that you've used before.

Please also see If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't connect to a Wi-Fi network

Have a nice day.
