Have older AppleTVs. Just upgraded to Catalina. Now my AppleTVs cannot connect to COMPUTER. Earlier, before I upgraded to Catalina, I could not SEND a move to the AppleTV but I COULD select COMPUTER and select a movie or TV show to play.
Catalina no longer has iTunes. I HAVE enabled SHARING in settings.
What am I missing. Or is this just another example of PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE?
No iTunes in Catalina as you have found, but Catalina has its successor: Music. Try connecting when Music and/or the TV app is running on your Mac. The latter has your videos and movies.

Okay. Problem solved. Found in another thread, turn OFF then ON again SHARING in SETTING on desktop. Works both ways now. Phew!
