External display causing crashing

I am trying to play what I would class as not intensive games, CS-GO and Minecraft mainly. Whenever an external display is used, they run for a couple of minutes and crash; I have looked into the crash reports and found the following. I don't claim to know much about this area so if anyone can 'translate' or give na indication to the issue I would be very grateful. This is wha ti obtained from the crash report:
