AirPods Pro ANC chime is too loud. Is there some hidden feature to lower the volume?

I listen to AirPods Pro at a low volume throughout the day. When I change the ANC mode on the AirPods Pro, the chime is roughly 2 times the volume of my music, and often at a painful level, comparatively.

I have my iPhone’s “Headphone Safety” set to the lowest level (75dB), but the ANC chime is so much louder than everything else it seems like an oversight by Apple developers not to have given the user the option to either 1) Mute the ANC chimes altogether, or 2) set the chime volume manually, perhaps using the iPhone’s “Reduce Loud Sounds” setting as a guideline.

Any Recent Updates?:

If you recently updated your iPhone, then it may be a bug in the update. So, if recently updated, report this to Apple. Apple won't get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is going on, and what fixes to include in updates to come.
