Why Final Cut Pro only uses 60% CPU? Macbook Pro 16" 2019
While editing videos that I shot handheld on my Sony a6400, I always stabilize them in FCPX since my camera can't.
I have iStat Menus installed on my MacBook so I can see detailed CPU Usage and when FCP works on stabilizing my video it doesn't use all the CPU power available, stabilizing footage in FCPX only uses 60-70% of the CPU, leaving around 30% for other tasks proly.
During editing my MacBook wasn't hot at all so CPU was not thermally limited and other software like Lightroom always use 100% of my CPU, but not the FCPX.
Any tips on how to allow FCPX to use more power?
That will decrease rendering times significantly!
