iMessages on new MacOS

Just setup a new Mac mini today and my iMessages aren't syncing among my iOS or other MacBook. Any new message I send will but I am not getting any of my older ones. Any tips or ideas?

Thank you!

On your new Mac check Messages Preferences > iMessage and see if:

  • You are signed into your iCloud Account
  • There is a tick in the box asking - Enable Messages in iCloud (click on Sync Now)
  • The 'You can be reached at...' is accurate and the same as your other devices

Over on your phone go to Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding

and see if your new Mac is listed (it should be) and active - green - it may not be.
