The new Mail v14 layout is just awful. Running Big Sur 11.6.2, is there a way to convert back to Mail v13.4?

Has one explore the various Options presented in View menu of Apple Mail ?
There is the " Column Layout " and several others to be investigated before going back to Eudora
I will withhold further comment about what I think of the Mail product team design talent.
Thanks for the bad news... I mean reply. I really do not understand why some genius at Apply thinks that they must change the look of a mail program so dramatically. It is really a pain in the ***... If I could I would just go back to Eudora... opps, they gave away my age group... Again, seriously, thanks for your reply and help.
The thing I miss most is the simple toggle for "Sort By". Now that takes three steps...
