Buy individual songs from iTunes on PC

Having an unusual issue - I am an Apple Music subscriber who also from time to time wants to buy individual songs so I can download the song files and edit them. This used to be very easy - I would right click the song in my library and click "Show in iTunes Store" and buy the song there. But now when I do this, the iTunes Store listing that loads for the album the song is on only gives me the option to Buy the whole album (using the button underneath the album art), and the place where the Buy button used to be for each song now just says "Play" and plays the song from Apple Music (previously I would see the price of the individual song listed here in the indicated area, and clicking that price would purchase that track).

Am I missing something? Is it now only possible to buy complete albums with iTunes on PC?

Hmm, I'm seeing prices in the UK store. I would suspect some kind of temporary issue. As a workaround you could open a new empty library which doesn't have Sync Library/iCloud Music Library enabled, make the purchase there, then swap back to the original library, remove download (if you already have an Apple Music copy), then download the purchase (unless you want to leave it in the cloud).
