texting problems

i have a friend that i can text and she can receive when in a group text, but she doesn't get my replies in an individual message...

i coach voleyball. i send a group text to all moms. she gets and and replies and it works fine. but if she texts just me i get them 2-3 times and she doesn't get my replies...

how do i fix?
