Siri not working
Hi, neither my “Hey siri” or using the side button is working to activate Siri. I’ve tried enabling and disabling the first three options. Please help me get this to work

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that Siri and Hey Siri are not working.
Checking your settings first was a good idea. Make sure that you have tried all steps in If "Hey Siri" isn't working on your iPhone or iPad.
Next, check to see if Sound Recognition is enabled - Recognize sounds using iPhone. Does disabling or enabling this setting impact your results?

Since the issue with Siri continues after trying the steps in those articles, it may be best to contact Apple Support. You can reach out from Get Support or using the direct phone number for your region from Contact Apple for support and service.
In regards to adding your card, use the guidance from If you can't add a card to Apple Wallet to use with Apple Pay including reaching out to your card issuer if needed.

Hi, thank you for your response.
I’ve read and tried everything in the 2 articles you linked with no success. When I hold down the side button, a Siri icon appears for about half a second then disappears.
Another issue I’ve been experiencing is not being able to use my “Wallet” app. My bank offers for me to add my card into my wallet, but I’m always greeted with an error message which says “could not add card”. I have a similar error message when trying to add reward coupons such as those given with Discovery.
Perhaps these two problems are linked in some way. I would much appreciate your time and assistance
