Playlist issue between iMac, iPhone, and iMatch

I've viewed Youtube, apple support, and other platforms but have yet to resolve this issue. It's probably an easy fix but I'm just challenged on this subject.

So, I have iMatch which is suppose to match up my non-Apple music along with my "purchased music". I also have an iMac which is where I develop my playlists, and an iPad/iPhone which is where i purchase the majority of my music. So, all I really want to do is to just transfer a Playlist from my Mac to my iPhone.

It can't be as difficult as I'm making it. BTW, I have the iCloud sync enabled as well.

So, if any of y'all can throw me a bone. I'd appreciated it.
