Since updating to Monterey, Messages on my Mac doesn't work with non-iPhone text messages any longer. I still get them on my iPhone, but they don't show up on my Mac. Blue bubble iPhone messages still come through just fine, but absolutely no green bubble messages do. What happened?

Check on your iPhone that it is forwarding texts (SMS) to your Mac.
Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding
Your Mac should be listed and active (Green) for SMS to be sent over to it.

And on the iPhone >> Setting >> Messages and enable " Text Forwarding " plus inside that same place make sure the Apple Computer is listed by Name and Enable ( Green Slider ) for this computer
Added - is this information accurate as per user Profile MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.1 ?
If yes, the current version as of Jan 26, 2022 is version 12.2 and it brings bug and security fixes plus a newer version of Safari.
