How to add music that I've made to iTunes library

I've been trying to add tracks that I've recorded of my choir to my iTunes library. However, I don't have the Add to Library button in my drop down list. Neither do I have the synchronise Library button in the list. Any ideas how I can get round this. I'm working on Apple Mac that has recently been updated to Mac Monterey 12.2

Jard,

After you have made the recording, did you make sure that it is an audio file on your computer, in a compatible format such as MP3? If so, now you can add it to your iTunes/Music library by any of the following methods:

  • Drag it into iTunes (or Music)
  • Drag it into a specific playlist (i.e., the open window of a regular playlist, not a smart playlist)
  • Drag it into the "Automatically Add..." folder (Do this while iTunes/Music is running)
  • Use the command File > Import and navigate to its location
  • Right-click the MP3 and choose Open With > iTunes (or Music)
  • Double-click the MP3
