Wich was the last app that used my camera. Which app has been using my camera while my iPhone was locked?

Lately I noticed a green dot right before my iPhone is unlocked. Whe the iPhone unlocked, the green dot despear. Its kind of creepy. Will some one help me?

Green indicator for camera. So my iphone7 was locked on the floor. I picked it up and noticed the green light at the top of the screen was on, indicating that an app was using my camera. I don’t particularly feel comfortable with apps using my camera willy nilly, without me opening an app for that particular purpose. Has anyone else experienced this? Unauthorized use of camera and microphone I noticed the green dot was on my phone when it was not supposed to be. The Pokémon go app was using my camera when it shouldn’t be. I tried restarting the app, but it didn’t stop. I restarted my phone and then saw an Orange dot for a short period, something was using my microphone. I reopened the Pokémon go app and it was not loading the Pokémon near me and was continuously loading something behind the scenes for an excessive amount of time. I restarted my phone again and noticed after a minute or two it felt a lot cooler to the touch than before. Any ideas about what is going on here would be healthful.

Hi Omaryjessy,

It sounds like you're trying to find which app is using the Camera and we can help.

You can try going to Settings > Privacy > Camera, and turn off all apps accessing your Camera.

Turn them back on one at a time and you should be able to isolate which app is using your Camera.
