Which email account was that? What specific settings did you try? Were you able to receive emails from this account before? Can you access this account successfully from a web browser?

We don't either. As such, let's start with a few questions, as all we know so far is that you have an iPhone 7, running iOS 14 and you are not getting any emails.

yes I’m using Apple mail app. I only use one specific email. Went through some of the settings from what I read but nothing worked.
