Apple TV remote messing with Samsung tv
HOW DO I GET MY APPLE TV REMOTE TO STOP SENDING CONTINUOUS SIGNAL TO MY SAMSUNG TV?
I have a brand new Apple TV, and a few year old Samsung tv. Just yesterday out of nowhere the Apple TV remote started sending continuous signals to the tv, and I can tell this by the standby light on the tv going haywire, and volume on the TV set constantly being controlled upward to maximum volume. I cover the front of the Apple TV remote with my hand, and these symptoms stop immediately. So it’s clearly the Apple TV remote. NOTHING IS WORKING! I’ve done all the suggested unplugging, resetting, turning things on and off that have been suggested in previous articles and queries. The only thing that is saving my sanity is the Apple TV learn remote feature so that I can use my Samsung tv remote to control the Apple TV. But it shouldn’t be this way! Someone help me solve this issue please! Or apple support you can just send me an all new Apple TV setup!
thanks all!
