60 GB 'system data' after migrating to a new mac
I just got a new mac. I transferred about 140 GB of data from my 2013 macbook pro retina display to a 2021 macbook air. My 140 GB made it, but there is now 60 GB of 'system data'. in addition to that I tried deleting the time machine backups but that didn't work... will this automatically clean up over the next couple of months or is there something else I need to do?? Very irritating to see that mystery system data taking up so much space. This wasn't on my old mac.
Thanks!
