AudioTechnica Turntable Pairing to iMac

I want to pair my AT-LP60XBT- Bluetooth turntable to my iMac, but the iMac will not discover it.

I have done the resets on the turntable. Nothing. It will pair with my kid's disco light downstairs,

but not my iMac in the same room. Any ideas? Are not all bluetooth signals created equal?

iMac 27″, macOS 10.15
