Eg: you entered the incorrect passcode too many times
or
You saw a message that says your account has been disabled in the App Store and iTunes
Apple support has an article (link below) that may or not be helpful.
Eg: If your account has been disabled for security reasons, (eg: forgotten password) you can reset your password

Have you tried accessing your Apple ID account lately ... and is it still locked ?
