How do we ask Apple to fix a bug on the Apple Watch with an update?

For the last few months, when I go to check my sons sugar on my Dexcom Follow app, it just shows the graph with 3 dashes. It is also doing this on his watch as well. I’m not sure if it has anything to do with the iOS 15 updates for the phones or the actual watch. It was working with the iOS 14 just fine. Please help because this has become a big problem not only for myself but for the hundreds of thousands of people who bought the Apple Watch to check their levels or their children’s levels while at work, school or in the middle of the night. Please help get this problem fixed. I’ve seen where everyone keeps addressing this issue and all Apple is saying is to update our devices, but that isn’t helping. Apple needs to come up with a repair to fix the bug, so please come up with a repair to fix this bug. We don’t want to switch companies. Thank you!!!

I think you may be looking for help in the wrong place. If there is an issue with a 3rd party app, you need to let the App Developer for that app know. Apple doesn't have anything to do with Dexcom. They don't own the code. And if it doesn't work on iOS 15 or WatchOS 8, it's up to them to ensure their apps work with the newer iOS versions.

It would be recommended you contact the app developer for help with their product. See this on how to contact an App Developer --> Contact a third-party vendor - Apple Support

Corrected link; that link should be this one: Contact a third-party vendor - Apple Support

And yes, as mentioned, check for updates to the Dexcom app, then contact the app vendor.

The app vendor is the only one that can fix a problem within that vendor’s app.

If this is not a bug in the third-party Dexcom app but is caused by an issue or change with an Apple update (and which is entirely possible), then the app vendor is still in the best position to discuss this with Apple, and to also to potentially provide a workaround pending an update from Apple, too.
