After updating the macOS Monterey, xampp not working

Today I updated macOS Monterey. Now my issue is, I haven't taken the

backup of the xampp and now I am not able to open then xampp because I

am getting the error.

Error starting "XAMPP" stack

cannot calculate MAC address: hv_vm_create unknown error -85377017

I have two doubts

  1. How can I get all the files in the xampp? Is it possible to get it?
  2. If I update the xampp then I will lose my old files?

Would you help me out with this?

Before performing a major system upgrade it is essential that you check that all your apps will be compatible. It appears you did not check xampp. There is no value in keeping backups in the app that creates the data. Backups should be kept on an external drive so that if a problem occurs you still have the data backup.

(Q)That is the point, Why you are guys not checking before sharing any update? Why it's not mentioned anywhere that after installing the macOS Monterey it will delete all the xampp data?
(A)There are millions of apps. Apple is not the creator nor keeper of these apps. It is up to the app user or app creator to monitor their apps for compatibility.

(Q)How customer will know that while updating this is the major update and we have to take the backup?
(A)Creating and maintaining backups is a basic computer task that every user needs to do continuously.

I am so disappointed with Apple. Removing PHP from Monterey has cost me endless hours in trying to find a solution.

What they should have done is introduce a way to update PHP version not remove it.

I have tried using homebrew to load PHP but this wasn't successful and I really don't have time to be solving these problems - customers have deadlines.

I now have to test websites using a remote server - shame on you Apple

That's really something which make me to dislike Apple, actually i loved to work with Mac, because of the linux compatibility and use my mac as dev environment, svn (subversion) is not working anymore, it would be smart Apple to take care of their users.

You should propose an alternative for XAMPP at least.

For me is a big decrease of quality and interest for your products.
