When I connnect cable to charge my I Phone 12 plus it kepts telling me liquid detected has been around water

When I connect cable to charge my I Phone 12 plus it kept's telling me liquid detected hasn't been around water. I let it sit for two days still wont charge with cable.

Make an appointment at a Genius Bar to have it evaluated for damage.
