Should I Turn Off Magic Trackpad and Keyboard After Use?

I've just bought and pair a new Magic Keyboard and Magic Trackpad and was wondering if I should be turning them off after I turn off the Mac I'm using them with?

gamepad controller mapped to Launchpad Since I have upgraded to Mac OS Ventura, I see that one of the Menu buttons on my HORI Gamepad is already mapped to a function in the Mac OS. When I press this button, it automatically switches focus to the Launchpad app and shows my 'Games' installed on my Mac. Three finger tap lookup in Ventura is gone? Hi, I've been deferring MacOS upgrades for a couple of years (ageing hardware couldn't take the new releases). Just purchased a new Mac and wanted to keep on reading in foreign languages I'm learning. I used to tap three fingers on the trackpad to lookup, but that option seems to be gone in Ventura. Is there a terminal / hidden settings thingy I could do to make it come back? Thanks

You don't have to turn them off if you don't mind charging them a bit more often. The trackpad should go for at least two weeks, the keyboard longer.
