Apple Watch SE with cellular. Since the update on Saturday, I have constant batter drain, going 100% to dead in less than 4 hours. Sometimes it wont charge all the way, but a hard reset fixes that.
i have unpaired a few times, restored it from backup. When that didn’t work I set it up as a new watch. I only use Apple chargers.
it’s really frustrating. Any ideas?

What's up with Apple support. They never commented on this issue. But, version 8.4.2 comes out that says it is minor bug and security fixes. And, now my SE is keeping its charge all day. I've only drained 20% in 6 hours. My watch would have been dead 2 hours ago. Well, anyway... 8.4.2 fixed this for me.

Support ran diagnostics and Watch hardware and software is fine. I deleted a bunch of apps and updated OS on my phone. Seems to be back to normal today.
I googled for a way to co tact support and we did it via text!
While I was not experiencing unusual battery drain in my Series 7, I have noticed significant improvement in my watch on 8.4.2. My watch has been on my wrist since about 7:30 this morning and it's now 3 PM and the battery percentage remaining is 90%. I haven't been doing anything heavy on the watch today, other than some notifications and some text messages. But still, this is a significant bump, which is terrific.
If you are lucky, then the watch go back to normal in few days. Wait 3-4 days. The watch lecalibrates the battery.
Did you have to call or go into a store? I just received my series 7 three days ago and haven’t been able to keep it charged more than 5 hours. I only upgraded from my series 3 because my battery was dying so quickly, only to have the exact problem with a brand new one. Frustrated is an understatement.
Mine, too. I noticed that the face keeps going from the face to spinning like it is trying to load something. Shutting it off and rebooting it seems to work for about 10-20 mins, then it goes back to the spinning.
Subsequent to the recent WatchOS 8.4.1 my Series 6 drains its battery within 6-8 hours.
Yes, it is frustrating, what is the solution now?
