Where is the tool bar on the ipad

Just started using an iPad. I cannot find the tool bar. I need it to sign documents. Can anybody assist.

There is no toolbar on iPad. What app are you using to sign documents - it might have a signature/annotation button.

Signature in Preview I have the signature from my iPad showing up in a separate untitled Preview document with the markup tool bar showing. But when I go to copy, paste/drag/insert, nothing shows up in the document where I need the signature to appear. What is it I am not doing or what setting needs adjustment?

I’m trying to sign a rental application sent by email. I’ll check for a signature button. Thank you.
