Why is my Magic Mouse only right-clicking when even the settings are configured correctly?
I have seen this question lots of times but everyone offers the same answer. When I start my iMac up, everything works correctly. At random times, the Magic Mouse stops left-clicking and will only right-click, regardless of which side of the mouse is pressed.
What have I already tried?
- Switching the mouse off and on again
- Disconnecting the mouse and re-configuring it
- Turning off the right-click option
- Swapping the left and right-click option
- Holding Control button and ensuring it is not stuck in (which it isn't)
- Restarting the iMac
- Formatting the iMac and reinstalling the macOS - Even this did not work...
The only thing that remotely works from this list is to restart the iMac, then the problem just reoccurs within about 5 minutes. Surely I am not expected to just restart my iMac every 5 minutes, so what am I missing?
