My Beats model A1763 sat for a year and a half at the office during covid and now won't turn on. I have charged it for over an hour and get a white light on the indicator, but the Beats do not turn on. Is there a fix or does it need a new battery?

Trying to get my Beats A1763 to turn on and then sync. It sat idle for 1.5 years at office during covid and shows a white light but will not turn on. Is there a fix?

Greetings MaKa6677,

Sitting for 1 ½ years may have had an effect on the battery, but let’s see if we can help get your BeatsX working again.

Looking at the article you used to reach out to us, Set up and use your BeatsX earphones, there is a section “Reset your earphones”. Did you try the steps for resetting your Beats? If not, go ahead and give that a try.

After trying to reset the Beats, if you still are unable to power them on you will want to contact Apple Support by going to Get Support

Good luck!
