why won't my mac book pro save scans from epson scan jet

My Epson scanner can scan documents but can't be saved on my mac book pro. How do I save?

epson printer will not save scans to "documents" Hello, I have an Epson WF-2760 printer scanner connected by ethernet to my MacBookPro. Recently, it has not been able to save scans to the "documents" default location. It saves ok to "desktop". This has only begun to be a problem since I updated Catalina to 10.15.7. Epson, perhaps not surprisingly, says it is an Apple problem. Is there any workaround for this apart from drag-and-drop to the right folder? Thanks.

Could you please confirm what exactly you're seeing when attempting to scan on your Mac? Do you see any error messages?

Do you have the most up to date drivers for your scanner from Epson?

Is your Mac up to date?

This info can help isolate what may be happening.
