Unable to activate iMessage after porting number
So I've exhausted all options I can find on the internet to try and solve this ...
I ported my number from EE to GiffGaff ... and have been unable to activate iMessage since.
It's been over 24 hours. I've tried every trick on the net I can find and no joy. Cannot activate. GiffGaff tell me it's not their issue and I need to contact Apple.
I've toggled messages and FaceTime on and off. Turned phone off 5 - 10 mins and tried to activate.
Repeated above but also reset network settings and signed out of and back into apple id.
Checked my number is correct. Checked date and time zones are set to auto and correct etc.
As you can tell this is getting a bit frustrating. I can't believe it's such a faff to get iMessage working ... any help you can give to get me back up and running would be most appreciated :)
