Pixelated Screen

Hello! As I was using my MacBook Air, the screen got pixelated and it wouldn’t change back to normal. I looked at the resetting solutions but nothing helped. The problem persists in Safe Mode - what should I do?

Thank you!

Hi DanaTttt,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. We understand that your MacBook Air screen is pixelated and this happens in safe mode.

Testing in safe mode was a great step to help isolate where this occurs. Resetting your NVRAM is the next step we'd suggest since display resolution is stored there. Check out Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac.

Take care.
